Heritage Sales and Marketing Group was created in late 2015 by Jack Eva, the former owner and operator of Electra Supply Inc., a four branch independent distributor in South Western Ontario, which he sold in 2012 to the Franklin Empire organization based in Quebec Canada.
Jack has numerous contacts in the distribution, manufacturing and agency arenas throughout Canada and the U.S., has travelled extensively and understands the unique expectations of each of the country’s provinces and markets.
In the beginning, Jack saw an opportunity to assist foreign manufacturers in the electrical industry break into the Canadian market by tapping into past experiences and knowledge. Heritage Sales and Marketing Group is able to offer warehousing in South Western Ontario, national sales coverage through knowledgeable provincial based sales agencies, monthly written reports focusing on growth opportunities within specific market niches, competitive pricing feedback, plant loading forecasts and a variety of related reporting developed specifically and uniquely for each manufacturer we represent. Where National responsibility is part of the need, Heritage Sales management will spend a minimum of 3 days per quarter in each province making joint customer sales calls with the agents and will conduct in-depth and focused discussions with the sales agency principles around performance, achievement of sales goals, opportunities and needs. Jack will also offer assistance to our manufacturer partners with CSA approvals, engineering specifications, consultant introductions and development of your “Brand” in the marketplace. Heritage Sales and Marketing Group will represent your company at national and provincial functions and events and will develop relationships with national head offices and national buying groups. We will be your face in the industry and will manage your Brand in the same professional way we will manage our own.
Heritage Sales also represents Canadian manufacturers in the Ontario market through strategic sales planning and implementation. We understand each manufacturer has a unique market focus. Clear and open communication with our manufacturer client ensures we take their message to the chosen customer. Monthly written and verbal reporting ensures current market conditions are conveyed.
